Privacy policy
How the SensyTwin website processes your personal data, and how to exercise your rights.
Last updated: 27 September 2026
Data controller
The controller of the personal data related to this website is:
- Company name
- SensyTwin
- Address
- 123 Avenue de l'Innovation, 75001 Paris, France
What the website does
This website is a static showcase website. It has no user accounts and no advertising, and it does not track you from one website to another. Its server does, however, keep a visit log, described below.
- Contact form: the form on the Contact page is not connected to any sending service. When you submit it, it opens your email app with a message pre-filled from the fields you entered, addressed to contact@sensytwin.com. Nothing is sent to the website or stored: the message only reaches us if you send it yourself from your email app, like any email.
- Theme preference: your choice of light or dark theme is stored in your browser only (see the Cookies page).
- Visit log: our server records every page viewed, in order to measure how much the website is visited. This happens entirely on our server: no cookie is set, no measurement script is loaded in your browser, and no third-party service is called. The data recorded and how long it is kept are set out below.
Data we process
- Email exchanges: if you write to us, directly or through the contact form, we use your email address, your name, the name of your company if you provide it and the content of your message to reply to you and follow up on your request. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in replying to the requests sent to us. This data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and any business relationship that may result from it.
- Visit log: for every page viewed, our server records your IP address, the date and time, the address of the page requested, that of the page you came from where applicable, and the browser and operating system reported by your device. From this we draw visitor statistics — number of visits, most-read pages, countries visitors come from — which help us improve the website, and these same logs are used to ensure the security and proper functioning of the website. This processing is based on our legitimate interest. The logs are kept for 30 days, then erased automatically. They stay on our server, are not passed on to anyone, are never cross-referenced with any other source, and are used neither for advertising nor for automated canvassing.
This data is not sold, transferred or used for advertising purposes. It is accessible only to SensyTwin, on its own server.
Third-party services
The website does not use any third-party service: it loads no resources from another website, and your browser connects only to the server that hosts it. Links to other websites (social networks, CNIL) are followed only if you click on them. Details are given on the Cookies page.
Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, the right to restrict its processing and the right to object. You may also set out instructions regarding what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@sensytwin.com or by post to the address given above. We will reply within one month. If there is reasonable doubt about your identity, we may ask you to prove it.
Complaint to the CNIL
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL): online at cnil.fr, or by post to 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if the way the website works changes, for example if the contact form is connected to a sending service or when the client area opens. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
